Problem

In Bitrix24, connected mailboxes (webmail or external IMAP/POP3) can lose synchronization for various reasons: expired OAuth tokens, changed passwords, blocked access, provider problems, API limits, etc. By default, Bitrix24 informs neither the administrator nor the user about such problems:

  • Emails are no longer received or sent.
  • Incoming inquiries are lost.
  • Users only find out about problems late, when complaints arise. This leads to delays, lost leads and additional support effort

Solution

We provide the "syncmailnotify" module, which regularly checks the status of all mailboxes in the background. Main features:

  • Automatic check of all mailboxes (IMAP/SMTP/OAuth).
  • Detection of typical errors (token expired, wrong password, blocking, timeout, limits).
  • Sending of notifications to:
    • Owner of the mailbox.
    • Administrator.
    • Support group.
  • Delivery channels:
    • Internal Bitrix24 notification
    • Email.
    • Optional: chat/group.
  • Content of the notification:
    • Affected mailbox.
    • Time of the last successful synchronization.
    • Error description.
    • Recommended action.
  • Flexible settings:
    • Check interval.
    • Threshold.
    • Exceptions The module works entirely in the background and requires no manual maintenance.

Output

  • Early detection of problems.
  • Reduction of downtime.
  • Fewer lost emails and leads.
  • 70–90% time savings for support.
  • Higher reliability of communication.

Requirements

  1. Bitrix24 On-Premise (from version 22.0+).
  2. Administrator rights.
  3. Connected mailboxes in the system.
